My name is Matej Lipka and I have been gaming enthusiast since I started to play classics like Prehistorik, Rick Dangerous, Test Drive and Battlechess on my very own PP06. I mostly enjoy playing FPS and RPG games, and mainly am looking for good story or fun gameplay mechanics.

I like beer, books, movies, games, humour, metal music, hiking and cats – not in this particular order. Right now I am living in theUK and besides this website, I am the founder and main authorof the only Czech and SLovak podcast about League of Legends – YoloQ Podcast.

EPHEMERIS INQUISITIO

I’ve created these pages (from lat. Inquisitorial Diary), as a side project, because I could not sit in silence and watch the moral and intelectual decay around us anymore. Mainly in video-gaming industry. With my reviews and blog posts I have decided to show the truth of pseudo-gamers and greedy businessmen that wouldn’t know a good game if it hit them in the head.

All of the posts on this website are my personal, honest opinions. Since I am not endorsed by any developing studio or a publisher, rest assured I will write what I really think. I have no problem praising good game or a mechanic, but I will spare nothing when exposing cheap cashgrabs and garbage games  masquerading themselves as AAA titles.

And as a bookworm, I will share my thoughts on books I have read recently, to help you decide what to pick up next.
